Scott Clark is the co-founder and CEO of Distributional, building Talaria Scientific, a multi-agent harness for computational science research. He was previously co-founder and CEO of SigOpt, a VC-backed Bayesian optimization startup acquired by Intel in 2020, where he then served as VP and GM of AI and HPC supercomputing through 2023. He holds a PhD in applied mathematics and an MS in computer science from Cornell University, where he was a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow.
Scott Clark is the co-founder and CEO of Distributional, building Talaria Scientific, a multi-agent harness for computational science research that turns a 10x researcher into a 100x researcher, with the scientist in the loop and HPC as the guardrail. He previously co-founded and led SigOpt, a Bayesian optimization company acquired by Intel in 2020, and then served as Intel's VP and GM of AI and HPC Supercomputing. At Yelp he co-created MOE, the first production open-source Bayesian optimization engine. Scott holds a PhD in applied mathematics and an MS in computer science from Cornell University, where he was a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow, and three bachelor's degrees, in mathematics, physics, and computational physics, from Oregon State University. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in enterprise technology in 2016 and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Talaria Scientific is a multi-agent harness for computational science that turns a 10x researcher into a 100x researcher, with the scientist in the loop and HPC as the guardrail. It is built by Distributional and is in private beta.
Talaria Scientific is a multi-agent harness for computational science: tooling that turns a 10x researcher into a 100x researcher, the way agentic coding did for software engineers. The slow, expensive part of research is undifferentiated work in data wrangling, sysadmin, and validation. Talaria makes that part fast, with the scientist in the loop and HPC as the guardrail. It is a mech suit for the researcher, not an auto-scientist that replaces the scientist: the harness runs the experiments, records them, and keeps the researcher in control. The product will be open source, and the team is building in the open. Talaria Scientific is built by Distributional, Inc., based in Palo Alto, California, and is in private beta with a small group of researchers.

Logos
SVG for print and design tools, transparent PNG for slides and web, and a white-background JPG for documents that cannot take transparency. The white set is for dark backgrounds; its previews sit on a dark checkerboard so you can see the transparency. The horizontal and stacked lockups (black and white) have no SVG: their type is live text in the source file, so the PNGs are the faithful cut.

Usage
Do
- Use the color logos on light backgrounds, the black line art for single-color print, and the white line art on dark backgrounds.
- Give the logo room: keep clear space of at least the height of the sandal mark on every side.
- Use the photos unaltered; take bios and titles from this page, they are kept current.
Do not
- Do not recolor, rotate, stretch, outline, or add effects to the logo.
- Do not display the sandal mark smaller than 32 pixels tall in print or on slides.
- Do not use the logo or the photos to imply endorsement of a product, service, or event.
- Do not place the color or black logos on dark or busy backgrounds; use the white set there.
